Specifically, here is how Avendra is framing our broad COVID-19 approach:

• Business continuity in place. Avendra’s business continuity plan has been in place for years and is well tested. All teams are currently up and running in a remote capacity. In addition, I have set up an executive-level Coronavirus Emergency Response Team to help direct daily operations.

• We are laser-focused on our core areas of expertise: sourcing and supply chain management. Avendra invoked our Emergency Preparedness Communications Protocol and our teams are continually tracking the global progression of the coronavirus and its implications on the supply chain. Our contract owners are in touch with key suppliers collecting updates regarding supply chain impacts, finding alternatives where available and sharing best practices to ensure we are working together to meet customer needs. As you manage your own businesses, rest assured our work is focused on managing the supply chain during this tumultuous time.

• Streamlined communications approach. Our communication will be targeted towards sourcing and supply chain management. COVID-19 messages will be released daily, until further notice, and the subject line will read “Coronavirus Supply Chain Advisory.” You can expect suppliers to continue to contact you directly as well.

• Proactive and reactive customer support in place. We’ll continue reaching out, but also know that Avendra’s Customer Service team is available to assist. You can reach them at 866-AVENDRA or customerservice@avendra.com.

Finally,  we have created a COVID-19 landing page on our web site to provide timely supply chain information and resources from Avendra’s strategic sourcing experts. We hope it will serve as a useful reference tool for your business during this time.
