Avendra’s Sustainable Sourcing Strategy

I. Implementing sustainable sourcing policies and procedures

We build sourcing strategies, policies and procedures that manage how we approach the supply chains we manage – through things like our Business Conduct Policy and continuous training for our sourcing team as well as set expectations for sustainability ranging from asking detailed questions at the point of selection, to baseline requirements at contracting, to continuous assessment and monitoring.

II. Supporting supplier diversity

Supplier diversity, equity, and inclusion are key business imperatives for delivering success to our clients, consumers, and communities.

III. Focusing on critical issues and high-impact categories

We concentrate our efforts on critical issues of climate, human rights, and deforestation, and focus on categories that have a high impact.

We support our clients and customers wherever they are on their sustainable sourcing and supplier diversity journey.
