Avendra is proud to recognize 86 suppliers for outstanding performance on its 2016 Meet the Truck audits.

Avendra’s Meet the Truck audit program provides quality assurance throughout the supply chain and ensures a wide range of requirements are met by Avendra approved suppliers. As part of the program, an Avendra Quality Assurance associate will coordinate a site visit at a customer location on a day when multiple deliveries are expected and conduct an audit at the time of delivery. Avendra suppliers are rated on items such as order fulfillment, trailer load, product integrity, and overall performance. Contracted suppliers are not informed of the audit in advance. Suppliers who do not receive a perfect score on the audit are provided feedback to help ensure their continued improvement. Through quality assurance programs like this, Avendra is able help guarantee that customers receive the correct products at a quality level that meets or exceeds their expectations.

In 2016 Avendra’s Quality Assurance team conducted 1,146 Meet the Truck audits at 393 customer locations. These audits were in addition to the 940 supplier audits conducted at Avendra manufacturers’ and distributors’ facilities.

In order to receive one of Avendra’s Meet the Truck awards, suppliers must participate in four or more Meet the Truck audits in a 12-month period and receive an average score of at least 95 percent. Of the 800-plus suppliers with which Avendra contracts, 86 were eligible for the award in 2016. Avendra suppliers are considered among the best in the industry illustrated by the fact that 247 of the eligible suppliers received scores of 90 percent or better. The 86 suppliers listed below are the very top performers, with average score of 95 percent or above.
